Covid-19 Impact on MAK’s Business Operations

While the state of California and local officials have instituted recent directives that effectively close many types of retail businesses in southern California, certain businesses that provide key infrastructure and services are exempt, including MAK’s.    Every day, we ship TIPMs to keep personal and fleet vehicles in service that play a key role in the continuity of life for people and critical social infrastructure.

Our operations continue. 

Nevertheless, we have instituted a comprehensive plan of work-from-home protocols for most of our employees, and social distancing within the workplace that prioritizes the health and safety of our employees, customers, and community.  While we have historically served some local customers at our headquarters, effective immediately all TIPMs will be shipped, even to customers who might otherwise buy in-person.

Most new orders will continue to be shipped by MAK’s same day or next day.   However, some shipments may be delayed by 1 to 2 days.   You will always receive email notification with tracking information upon shipment.   Additionally, the US Postal Service has announced that effective April 17, 2020, the USPS Priority Mail service, which is the default free shipping service MAK’S includes with every TIPM purchase, as well as the USPS First Class Package Service, will add 1 day to their stated delivery windows, increasing from 2 -3 days to 3 – 4 days.   Details from USPS here.
