TIPM Fuel Relay Repair for Dodge Durango, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Caravan, Chrysler Town and Country, VW Routan
What can you do about a faulty TIPM? Well, What is a TIPM and what does a TIPM do?
The main symptoms of a faulty fuel pump relay, is not getting fuel to the fuel pump relay causing it to hard start or not start, or the fuel pump staying on… causing it to drain the battery. If the fuel pump relay starts failing, this cause rapid deterioration as it begins to solder, until the vehicle won’t start. The fuel pump can also get stuck in the on mode, and you will hear a buzzing coming from the rear of the vehicle where the fuel pump is located. If this happens, the pump will remain on until the battery is drained. Here are some common complaints we have heard about this:
- It would be hard to start and now it does not start at all.
- My car shut off while driving, when I tried turning it back on it took several tries for it to start (hard start) up again.
- The Battery died, I have had it replaced and it died again a few days later.
- The car acts like there it’s out of gas, when the tank has plenty of gas in it.
- The Car stalls out.
